Social Dance News
Yesterday we were practicing different dances for the social at the end of the year. Some of them were the waltz, samba and cutin nie joe. It was really fun and everybody was having a blast. The dance that i liked most would probably have to be the cutin nie joe.

The Best Birthday Ever
The Best Birthday Ever
“Oh my gosh, she’s already half an hour late, she better be here soon” I whined to Dad.
Well you might be thinking what I’m going on about, is that you? Just sit back relax and let me do all the talking. It all started on a Saturday morning when I was waiting for Hannah the birthday girl to pick me up. Our plans was to travel up to Auckland and go ice skating so lets get back to the story to see how it turns out.
Then my Dad just had to open his big mouth, “Maybe they forgot about you and they’re already half way their”. “Daaaaaaaaad” I yelled as I was just about to burst into tears. Suddenly I heard a car horn “Beep beep”. I sprinted to the window to see who it was. It was the Birthday girl with her Mum, Dad, Sister, Brier and Xenia. “Yaaaaay” I yelled with joy. I ran to the car and as I was just about to open the door my Dad opened the window and yelled out “They didn’t forget about you after all” I chuckled to my self and closed the door. “Happy Birthday Hannah, so what was the hold up?” I asked. “First we just stopped at Burger King for some burgers then Brier and Xenia decided that they wanted little kids party hats and that took like forever” replied Hannah. So on the way up to Auckland we laughed, gossiped and opened presents. We finally got to the ice skating arena.
Some people say that ice skating is just like rollerblading and their absolutely right. Unfortunately for Brier she hadn’t been rollerblading or ice skating before so her legs were as wobbly as my stomach. Luckily for me I had done both so I was a Natural. One of the funniest moment of that day was when Brier was ice skating and then she yelled out to Hannah, Xenia and I “Hey guys I think I got the hang of it” then she tripped up someone and brier landed in a big puddle of melted ice. It was so funny because it looked like she wet her pants. Anyways it got dark and we decided to go home.
That night we stayed over at Hannah’s house. We laughed and gossiped more. That is the end of my story.

Today we did discovery and that is when we go onto www.go2web20.net to look at new websites so we can show other people. We also went on www.comiqs.com and it is so cool. It is a website where you can make comics. You should check it out and you should check out this website www.friv.com .

Exciting News (Kidsline Win)
Hey everyone. I have some really exciting news. You know how every year kidsline hosts a competition to see who can come up with the best poster? Well I got a commended placement in the 2008 Kidsline Poster Competition in my age group and only 25 kids get choosen through out the whole country! How awesome is that? I will be recieving a pink Nintendo DS and a certificate of congratulation together with a Nestle pack. You might be thinking well what did you do to win this prize. Well, I came up with the idea to draw 4 forks and 1 spoon and with the phrase saying do you feel like the odd one out, the 4 forks was also very colourful and around them it had a bright light of yellow and the spoon was coulored in black and around it was nothing just white space. My poster also included the number for Kidsline. I am just so happy that I won that prize! I could just scream! At the bottom of the page is Kidsline's number. Well beta get goin bye!
